Natural Child Birth?
Posted by: | CommentsThis may sound like a dumb question but hear me through. I want to know how bad natural childbirth hurts? Can you compare it to anything or should i just prepare the most awful worst pain of my life. I have been told that it hurts but its bearable. What are your thoughts? I am not a fan of getting drugs or an epidural. thanks!!
Orgasmic Childbirth…??
Posted by: | CommentsI was watching the tv show 20/20 tonight and it was all about childbirth and babies. Well, in the first segment of the show they interviewed some women who had natural childbirths and did not feel any pain. They actually had orgasms during delivery. I was just amazed at that. After giving birth to two children I cannot even imagine any kind of pleasure during labor and delivery. A Dr on the show was saying that when the baby moves down the birth canal it is stimulating all the nerves that a penis does when it goes into the vagina.
I guess my question is….have any of you women out there experienced an orgasmic childbirth?? Im just curious if this actually happens or if these women on this show are just insane.
lol@ maggie. I felt the same way when I was watching the show. It just seemed so wrong to experience that kind of pleasure. Very weird.
Induced Childbirth, side effects?
Posted by: | CommentsMy due date is December 7th, but the problem is my BF (the father) has Buffalo Bills tickets that day. He has convinced me to do an early induced childbirth so he can go to the game. At first I didn’t want to do it because this is my first child and I wanted to experience a natural childbirth, but he has convinced me I was being selfish. Because the game means so much to him (he said they were playing the Dolphins) I decided I am going to go through with it.
My main question is are there any side effects to inducing early childbirth? To me or my child?
I’m really nervous, so thanks in advance for the advice.
childbirth?
Posted by: | CommentsMe and my husband just had our first baby about a week ago. I had natural childbirth and i was in so much pain I thought I was going to die! I was bawling and screaming. My husband tried to comfort me but it didn’t help. She is soooooooooo cute and I don’t regret having her but after having her but I wonder if I should go through all that pain again having another baby? I really want at least 2 or 3.
Is anyone planning (or had) a midwife-assisted home birth? What made you choose it?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve read many books on natural childbirth and talked to many mothers; but no one seems to be in favor of this option. The most common answer I get is that they wouldn’t want to “chance it” with a home birth. I have seen a few hospital births and it just does not seem like the most comfortable (or safe) place to birth.
My own mother is against it too. What are your thoughts or experiences?
Will we really have to be induced at 42 weeks?
Posted by: | CommentsMy wife is coming up on 42 weeks and they are talking about induction. Is it really necessary? We have studied and practiced natural childbirth and were really hoping to avoid this type of medical intervention. Thanks in advance for any opinions!
How many cesarian sections are too many?
Posted by: | CommentsMy husband and I want a big family (4-5kids). I had to have an emergendy c-section with my first baby. My doctor wants me to have another c-section with my second. I am worried about not being able to have more kids if I keep having c-sections. My doctor says natural childbirth is too risky after having had a c-section.
Natural birth vs C section?
Posted by: | CommentsHi all, I’m 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby and really wondering about how I should bring this little baby into the world. I really want to go natural (with epidural of course) but what if the time comes and I feel I can’t do it or I get too scared to go on? Is there anything I can do in the mean time to make natural childbirth easier later on? I’m healthy young and not over weight. Please don’t tell me natural is better or c section is better – I know the pros and cons of both, but has anyone ever gone natural or thought they could and when the time came they couldn’t??
Thanx ladies!
Blood loss: C Section versus natural birth??
Posted by: | CommentsI was just wondering, you know how your vaginal area bleeds for a lil while after natural childbirth? Well, does the vaginal area bleed if the woman has a c-section instead of vaginal birth?
C-section vs. natural birth?
Posted by: | CommentsI’d like to know basically the pros and cons of both c-section and natural birthing…
My bf would like for me to have natural childbirth, but i’m afarid that “area” will be stretched out and never the same tightness..
is C-section really that safe ?
all advice would be apperciated =D
