Adoption – William & Gidget Bill and I met in 2003 at a local restaurant. After hearing Bill laugh, I approached his table and joined the conversation. We discovered we had much in common and an instant connection, like when Edward first laid eyes on Bella in Twilight. The first thing I noticed about Bill was his amazingly blue eyes. Bill asked me on a date and we have been inseparable ever since. Bill and I share a passion for old movies.We also enjoy spending a lot of time outside, and cannot wait to buy our little one his/her first tricycle, in order to push them around at the local playground. A description of our educational background and careers may not be as exciting compared to the first night we met; however, it is an important detail. Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy and Educational Counseling and is employed as a school guidance counselor for students ages 13-18. I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and work in a Fine and Performing Arts Department for a community college. Every day I am surrounded by beautiful music, acting, and creative minds painting art. I have an amazing job, which is flexible enough for me to be a stay-at-home mom. Our home has four bedrooms, three and one-half baths, and a beautifully fenced-in backyard. We painted one of the guest rooms a sunny yellow color in anticipation of reading bedtime stories, playing ‘tickle-monster’ and rocking a child to sleep in our arms.
