How can I get an Adoption Forum started on here?
ByThere are categories for trying to conceive, parenting, pregnancy, etc. Why isn’t there any category for ADOPTION?
If anybody is interested in an Adoption category and not just getting thrown into the “general or other” parenting category, I suggest that you send Yahoo! answers a message and tell them why Adoption has different issues than when a couple conceives a child themselves. Maybe we can get enough support to get Yahoo!answers to start a separate category for Adoption! 
Adopting a child/baby, being adopted yourself, finding your birthparents, etc. are all issues that need it’s own category. People that conceive their own children don’t understand the world of Adoption.
I do not mean to offend anybody by putting this on here. I am just realizing that Adoption is a whole other world and has it’s own issues compared to a general parenting category.
Anybody else agree?

I think it would just be under parenting but if you want to start one i think you should contact the people that run the site.

There is a link on the bottom that says

Try clicking there and suggesting them to add it

as one of the functions of an adoption site, we need to talk about adoption reunions and how to search for your birth parents and birth siblings.
it is a question that will come up in every adoptee’s life

This is really a great idea. I have adopted children and would love to see that topic here. I sent a message to Yahoo Answers about that. We shall see what they do.

Just a statement! I am adopted and I got on the other day and just looked up adoption and there was nothing. I couldn’t believe it. I’m sure it would be a fantastic category. I’m going to take the advice of one of your other answers and let them know I would love an adoption category too…..! Thank you for bringing this up!!

I completely agree.. Ive posted a few ?s about adoption and I was shocked to see that it doesnt have its own category! I dont know how to get one on here but if I can help let me know!
