What major do i need to work for an international adoption agency?

By pregnantnews

I’m a junior in high school right now and I’ve decided that I would like to work for an international adoption agency: giving homes to children from homes that come from a third world country.

My only problem is, What do i major in?

Social work?
Sociology?

Or something else?
I also would like to join the PEACE CORPS after my bachelors degree. Would I need a different degree for that?

Thanks for anyone who helps:)

I think you need to look into social work…..that sounds like my best guess.

My aunt does adoptions, both domestic and international. She has a degree in social work.

It would need to be social work/

If you study the social sciences, you won’t want to work for an international adoption agency. I don’t think people who work in these industries are much educated since the area does not support postitive results for all members involved in adoption. While adoption builds families, it destroys another in the process.

You don’t need an education nor a conscience to work for one or own one.

You might want to get familiar with the law so you can get around those pesky natural mothers your going to have to con out of raising their children.

Legal degree so you can figure out how to circumvent those pesky laws!
