What are your experiences with infant care for 2-3 month old babies?
ByFor those of you who send your babies to infant care at 2-3 months old, can I find out what your experiences are?
I have just started my 3 month old at infant care, and I don’t really feel very good about it. I am not sure whether I should send to a home care instead. Is it any better?

That’s why I choose to stay at home with my children. We don’t trust anyone. Sorry.

my baby is 16 weeks and started daycare at 6weeks, she seems to be doing fine with it, i really love the daycare i choose, they allow parents to come in and just check up at anytime (which is great when you are dealing with parting with your baby for several hours a day) it was soooo hard on me at first but i find her very alert, and able to deal with new enviroments as well as new people
Just be sure that you have picked a GOOD daycare,

Honestly, if you put your baby in a setting with other babies it will be the same thing. If staying home is not an option, try looking for a certified nanny.

I had to return to work when my son was only 3 mo. I found a mom with three kids who wanted to send them to the Christian School where I taught. I paid for two of her kids’ tuition and gave them a ride, and she gave loving care to my baby. Her little boy at home loved entertaining the baby. It was a rare case, and my other experiences with home care have not been so good.

at first you will feel very bad for leaving him at infant care. you need to make sure the place you are taking him/her to isn’t crowded. i would not trust anyone with my 5 month old child that has more than 2 or 3 infanst per person. you need to make your child is getting all the attention they need. i took my child out of infant care because of this problem plus i didn’t feel he was being fed as much as he should have been. now i have someone that lives with my family and stays at home with only my child all day mon-friday… luckily i dont have to pay too much since they are getting a free living area. i would recommend trying it but, if the infant care doesn’t fell right change what you are doing
