does this work?
Byhi, i am 13 weeks pregnant with my first child and i really want to give birth naturally. im nervous that im gonna cave and get an epidural but i really dont want too. i was wondering if anyone has used the program hypnobabies and did it work? please give me very truthful answers thanks in advance

I have never used it personally but heard great things…You can go on you tube and look for videos of birthing women using hypnobabies.
Other options to check out are Birthing From Within and Bradley Method, both natural…Birthin From Within may be more up your alley…All of them have web sites to check out the philosophies, etc.
To increase your chance of a natural birth consider a midwife and doula!!!!

I am not sure about hypnobabies, but I used the Bradley method, and gave birth 100% naturally without any labor drugs! I highly recommend it!

i am a psychotherapist that uses hypnosis almost exclusively. unfortunately, i discovered hypnosis after both of my children were born, so i could not coach my wife through both births with hypnosis. please consider contacting a WELL TRAINED hypnotherapist NOW that has hypno-birthing training. work with them weekly and do SELF HYPNOSIS so that when the time for your child to be born comes you are WELL VERSED in using this modality. ALSO: have the practitioner THERE at the birth and have all this WRITTEN in a birthing plan. make CERTAIN that the therapist is ON BOARD with you, your plan and the physician so that when the time comes to be “on call” the therapist is fully ready to show up.
ALSO: of course, you should contact a DOULA to make all this run more smoothly… the doula may even have hypnosis training.
