Has anyone ever tried hypnobirthing?
ByI have read the hypnobirthing book, and have been practicing the relaxation techniques. Has anyone else tried this approach to birth. I am 36 weeks, and hope everything I have been learning and practicing come into good use

I haven’t tried hypnobirthing, but I’ve had two natural births and have been a doula at a couple births that used hypnobirthing. Everything went very well for the mothers
Edited to add: implacablemage, are you saying that your child has autism because you didn’t take drugs in labor? That’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard about natural birth.

This method has been linked to autism in children. Do not do it; my child is a victim of this correlation.
