Get with your doctor and ask to get signed up. Let your doctor tell you when it is a good time.

i belive it is not until you are about eight months. yes it does not hurt to take the class, you find out proper breathing, tips on how to relax well in labour, your body, mind, you go in with an idea of what to do, but just to worn you (not trying to scare you) no matter what you learn it does not compair to the reall thing

Call the Hospital you plan to deliver at. They should be most helpful with pointing you twards a lamaze class, and be sure to tour the birthing unit of the hospital..and PRE-Register lol…filling out insurance forms really sucks when your at 6 cms, full blown labor.

It’s usually recommended to take the classes around 7 months. Sometimes you might want to call maybe a month or so in advance to schedule for the month you want because the classes fill up fast.
Good luck and congratulations!!
