@otakukangaroo Many of the jokes in the “Cosby Show” pilot were lifted from “Bill Cosby: Himself”, like “When I talk to you you shut up. Do you think I talk just to hear myself talk? Answer me!” and “The shampoo went into her eye and she may be blinded for life!”
@RobbytheLion Usually if you get an epidural the doctor makes you stay on your back because you go numb from the waist down and they don’t want you to hurt yourself. Also it depends on where the woman is most comfortable. Pushing can take up to two hours sometimes and squatting isn’t their first choice.
@oneohtwo102
I grew up on this movie.
I had it on vhs, it was a rare treat to find it and watch it a bunch of times.
It’s still funy after all this time.
I don’t understand whay women give birth laying back nowadays. It makes alot more sense to be upright so gravity helps. It’s easier if you squat and have someone balancing you, and someone else to grab the baby when it comes out so it doesn’t hit the ground. That’s natural. Why doesn’t anyone do that?
This routine is the reason that I love stand up comedy today. Although crude humor can be funny, true comedy comes from funny people talking about things that everyone can relate to. Such a classic bit! Love it!!

@RobbytheLion they’re probably in too much pain to stand up, and if they had morphine they wouldn’t be able to stand up
