Has anyone had their ob/gyn tell them they had granulation tissue after natural childbirth?

By pregnantnews

I had moderate tearing and a midline episiotomy. My son was born twelve weeks ago, and Monday my Ob cut out this granulation tissue and re-stitched me. It’s like healing all over again. Anyone experience this, and what did the Dr. say caused it etc. Any info helpful!

I had the same problem, but my Dr. did not want to fix it. I was in pain and miserable. Finally, went to a specialist in a bigger city and had the repair. No problems since. However, a different OB would not let me deliver my second child vaginally because he was afraid there was not enough skin left for it to heal properly. C-Section went well and my baby is now 14.
