Most doctor's will not attempt a vaginal delivery after 2 c-sections. Talk to your doctor about it, but my feeling is that they will advise a repeat c-section. Mainly because with the previous c-sections your uterus has developed scar tissue that has weakend the muscle and a trial of labor could cause uterine rupture which asside from loss of your uterus you could hemmorage... Not worth the risk if you ask me.

It depends upon the doctor. Just about any OB/GYN will allow you to try a "trial" VBAC after one C section. But the risks (of uterine rupture I believe) greatly increase after two C sections. So there are some OB/GYNs that have basically a "policy" that they will NOT do VBAC after two C sections.

So bottom line is you will HAVE to discuss it with your OB/GYN.

Yes, the process is called VBAC. Vaginal Birth After C-section. Your doctor will be able to determine is this is a safe alternative for you. I attempted to do VBAC when I was pregnant with my son, but after 7 hours of labor with absolutely no progress, we opted for a second C-section.

Good luck.

It IS possible. It's called a VBAC, or a vaginal birth after cesarean.

There are some risks involved, and the main one being uterine rupture. Because the spot of the scar tissue on your uterus is weaker, you're at risk for contractions making it tear, which can be vary dangerous.

Most doctors and/or hospitals refuse to do VBACs for this reason, so you'd need to talk to your OB about whether he himself, or the hospital even practice it.

And because your first child was too big, and babies *generally* get bigger as you have more children, there's a good chance this baby may be too big as well. However, the worst case scenario with this would just be another c-section.

My girlfreind had "twins" naturally after having a c-section because her birth canal was to small for her first baby. They are now "17" so I am sure they can do more by far now as well.

I had a natural birth after a c-section, so it could be possible after two, you should talk to your doctor, but if possible try to go natural, it's so much easier, during healing there's less pain and doesn't take near as long

Babies generally get bigger with each pregnancy. Same thing happened to my friend. They told her after the second that a c-section was the best option if she wanted a 3rd

Yes it is possible ... every pregnancy is different since the babies are different ... if 2 things are under control you should have a normal birth. They are your Blood Pressure and your babies heart rate.

babies heart rate is something u cant control ,,, your BP can be controlled by good excersizes ... would recommend lamas classes they teach you very good breathing techniques for BP control ... leading to a normal birth.

Good luck.

I have heard that these days it is possible because the incisions that are made for a C-section are so small etc. unlike the past. But someone correct me if I am wrong.
