Is it possible to have a natural childbirth experience at Norsthside in Atlanta, GA?
ByI’m 3 mos pregnant and have been going to a OB/GYN affiliated with Northside. My last pregnancy was at Gwinnett Medical and they used so many drugs (w/ my consent) to induce and ease labor pains, but I felt constricted to the bed which was very uncomfortable. I’ve heard “stories” about Northside, so I’m now skeptical because I refuse to have a repeat of my last birthing experience. I want to go as natural as possible this time, but need to know if I will need to transfer to a different OB/GYN.

You should ask your present OB/GYN and tell him/her of your previous experience. The doctor is the boss of the situation as well as yourself. Others present during labor and delivery don’t make the decisions, you and the doctor do.
