I had my son naturally and let me tell you I remember it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life…but I cant remember what it felt like cuz as soon as I saw my baby boy it erased all memory of the painful feeling and all I could feel was unconditional love. I will be having my baby girl in May and she will be born naturally too.

I have two children and both were all natural, no epidurals, nothing!!! I think that the pain was not bad but then it also depends on the person and how much pain she can tolerate, I went to the hospital 10 cm dialated and ready to have my babies with both, they are now 4 and 2 y/o. With my son I pushed for 30 min and had him and with my daughter I pushed for 10 min and had her, but in the end its all worth it no matter how much pain you go through!!
An ex friend of mine had a baby a couple months after me and she swore it was the worst pain and she just had to have an epidural & stitches and her baby was only
6 # 5oz my son was 7 # 15 oz my daughter was 6 # 10 oz. But like I said depends on the person!! good luck!

I had epidurals with all four, but with my second it didn’t work. (As in not at all … I scared the life out of the doctor who was about to do an episiotomy on me (without more meds, because he figured I’d already had the epidural and wouldn’t feel it) and was squirting me with antiseptic when i asked him since i could feel the squirting perfectly well, didn’t i really need more pain medication before an episiotomy? at that point, they finally believed me that the epidural wasn’t working!).
That labor was back labor, and it hurt a lot. But hey, what’s a day of labor compared to everything you get back afterwards? I went on to have two more planned children, so obviously it was manageable even though it’s not something I’d choose to do every week!

When i had my daughter i had hoped for a natural childbirth. i didn’t want to be all groggy and not rememeber things!!.well it was 5:30 am and i hadn’t slept a wink . I was in alot of pain and was waay too exhausted to deal with it! They offered me many many drugs. I knew i defiantly didn’t want morphine!!!!! So i suffered for a while. Then they gave me some laughing gas. Well i certianly wasn’t laughing but it helped tremendously!! and took me from 5-9 cm. Then i had a shot fentinol. Let me tell you that was some good stuff! I was able to fall asleep and DREAM between my contractions!!!!!. Which were only a minute apart! After only 20 mins of pushing my precious girl was here. There is no denying the fentinol helped a great deal but i would not want it agian. I was very out of it and the next few hours after that are a little hazy. Which i didn’t want!

I’m currently pregnant with my 1st, and I intend to have the epidural. I have a very low threshhold for pain.
