Orgasmic Childbirth…??
ByI was watching the tv show 20/20 tonight and it was all about childbirth and babies. Well, in the first segment of the show they interviewed some women who had natural childbirths and did not feel any pain. They actually had orgasms during delivery. I was just amazed at that. After giving birth to two children I cannot even imagine any kind of pleasure during labor and delivery. A Dr on the show was saying that when the baby moves down the birth canal it is stimulating all the nerves that a penis does when it goes into the vagina.
I guess my question is….have any of you women out there experienced an orgasmic childbirth?? Im just curious if this actually happens or if these women on this show are just insane.
lol@ maggie. I felt the same way when I was watching the show. It just seemed so wrong to experience that kind of pleasure. Very weird.

Whoever said that is f’ing insane. I’ve had two natural childbirths and can tell you it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I didn’t have any pain meds so I felt everything. Let me tell you, there is NO pleasure whatsoever.

Well i was in labour for 3 days without pain Relief, so when i as able to push it was ‘orgasmic’ mentally because i knew the pain i had endured for days on end was soon to be over!. I enjoyed the pushing part it was like having a really really bad stomach ache for ages due to constipation then finally managing to poo!

Now THAT would be a prenatal class I want to sign up for-would beat the hell out of lamaz!!! LOL
I suppose it’s possible, people have different reactions to stimulus and different tolerances for pain…wish I knew what their secret was!
The pain free birth would be awesome, but Im not so sure about the orgasm from having your child–that might be a tad awkward and borderline creepy lol.

That sounds crazy to me….I wish I would have caught it on TV.
Both my delivarys were extremly painful, and I can remeber thinking during it “I am NEVER doing this again”….yet I am pregnant with my third LOL but once baby is out you immeditly forget about the pain and are happy its over and the baby is finally here….maybe thats what they mean?

Boy I didn’t feel anything close to orgasmic. Gimme an epidural any day.
Personally, I think those women on 20/20 were lying, lol.

I have had one..i kno it sounds crazy but it is true. it feels different but really good. when i was done giving birth i was sooo horny that when i was done breast feeding and the baby fell asleep my husband fucked me

Sounds weird! Im in California and just checked, 20/20 is on in an hour! Im going to watch that one!!
