I had a natural NATURAL birth, I mean, with no medication and it hurt..A LOT ….if you’re so afraid juts opt to have a “natural” birth with epidural, most women tell me they don’t feel anything. Sometimes it does not work out- but remember once you see the baby you will forget all the pain.

the c section is more painful afterward.it took me about 6 weeks to fully recover from it and it was hard to take care of my new baby while i was still sore. but after the first push i was extremely happy they gave it to me !!

you know i was scared for a little while too…but why be scared its something that HAS to happen. you cant avoid it so you might as well just become educated and try not to get all scared.
with a c-section your going to have a scar and and i can assume that the wound would hurt for a good week or two…you did just have surgery.
with natural you can always get an epidural for pain. sure it hurts but i hear once the baby is out it is such a feeling of relief and you feel so good. dont watch to many videos…i find the more i watch them the more freeked out i get so try not to.

I had a natural birth with my first then a c-section with my second. C-section was the hardest, with my first i was up almost right away and with a c-section not till the next day and i was so sore for 3 weeks afterwards. A natural birth is much safer for mom and baby. I’m hoping for a natural birth with this one!

ok i had a c-section done and i wanted so badly 2 have it normal but there were complications w/ my baby like as in
the cord was wrapped around his neck so i had 2 get it done
but the c-section doesnt hurt what hurt me was the healing process its pretty difficult to get up right away 2 get your baby when he/she is crying or whatever so if u have an option have it normal definitly!!!! plus c-sections leave a long scar depending on your type of skin =]]
oh yeah if u cant handle the pains get an epideral and u r good…
hope this helped =]]

well during a c-section your giving pain killers and knocked completely numbed up or knocked out so you don’t feel a thing, but the aftermath is pretty painful. It takes about six weeks to heal and your in pain most of that time. Now as for a natural birth, your given pain medication if you ask for it to help with the contractions, but thats only for awhile and than you have to deal with the agony of the contractions and pushing. so in my opinion i think natural child birth is more painful, but c-section is more painful in the long run of things. You heal after a few days or week with natural.

Causarean takes longer to heal but hardly any labor (in most cases) while natural childbirth you heal quicker but have to go through labor.

Ceasarean is less painful during birth because your all drugged up but the recovery is way longer.
Just get an epidural and you’ll be fine with a vaginal birth.

i had a c-section 10 months ago and i was in so much pain after, i had a morphine drip for 2days coz thats how sore i was, im now fully healed and have been for about 7months, i still have a numb patch where they cut but im not too worried and neither is the doc,
if i had a chance to do it natural i would of but i couldnt,

c section because even though u won’t feel nothing afterwards it takes longer to heal but if u meant like right now then its natural but in the long run it would be c section so its bacially a lose lose situation

c-section u cant feel because you are completely numbed, but the healing after wards is very bad
u can have all kinds of drugs for natural delivery
dont worry about giving birth, you body is designed to do it

I only have one child who was born via c-section and i can tell you it was very painful and it took me really 6 weeks to recover from it.
Even though i have never given birth naturally i would think that having a c-section is far more painful according to my mom who has had both she would tell you that a c-section is more painful.

My experience with a c-section was good. I went in to have the baby vaginally, but couldn’t because I don’t have wide enough hips. I was up and carrying her a couple of hours after I gave birth. I did not take any pain medication after she was born because I didn’t want it in my breastmilk. It hurt, but I did have surgery. I think it hurt me more when my milk came in and I started breastfeeding!

NATURAL is more painful, Cesarean they give you a local and pop the kid out. Fast and quick, but one hell of a scare.

I’m 25 with 3 kids n the last 2 were completely natural matter of fact my youngest which is 5 months was delivered in the parking lot of the hospital by EMT the birth naturally is painful but how painful depends on how much pain you can tolerate when its all done you will realize you were scared for nothing because its more scary then painful. i wouldn’t worry about c section its not something you can just ask for it has to be a necessary thing to do. if the pain gets to much for you to handle you can get an epidural.

Natural hurts dont get me wrong, think of something 5 + lbs coming out, BUT as soon as the baby is out the pain is over. I was able to walk right after.
My best friend and I were a month apart and she had a C-section. For months after she was still feeling pain. The recovery is different for everyone, but it takes longer to heal from a C-section.

That’s like comparing apples and oranges.
Giving birth vaginally obviously hurts. Each delivery, even with the same woman, will be different. Some will be more intense than another. It is scary the first time, but if you prep yourself it’s not so bad, and if you are willing to take medication for pain, it’s even better, lol.
C-section is numb, so you don’t feel anything. It’s surgery. But the recovery can generally be harder and longer after the birth compared to vaginal.
Doctors will recommend a vaginal birth over surgery every time if given a choice. The only time surgery is an option is an as needed basis. Nature intended a women’s body to push a baby out, not to be cut open, so a doctor will try for a vaginal birth whenever possible.

During the birth a vaginal birth would be more painful, but as for healing time a cesarean take a long time to heal because it is major surgery. You can always have an epidural if you are that scared! And also keep in mind that it is painful, but always the second the baby is out the mother are always smiling so obviously it can’t be that bad! If it was horrible then people would never have more than one child but that’s not the case. Just relax and keep positive thoughts about birth! You are going to have to do it anyways so why worry?

I had natural childbirth with both of my children. I think that caesarean is less painful as well. The best thing for you to do is get an epidural. You should feel no pain at all.

i think normal is harder and more painful.
Good luck with ur baby!

I would go with a vaginal delivery. You get a spinal block with a c-section so you don’t feel any pain, but it’s surgery so you get that incision and that can take time to heal and probably doesn’t feel that great (I’ve never had one, but I can imagine).
With a vaginal delivery, it hurts but once the baby is out it’s over. If your pain threshold is really low (like mine) you can always get an epidural or some sort of pain medication. I had an epidural with my first baby and it was great; after it was put in I felt no pain and when the baby was coming out felt pressure but didn’t hurt. Afterwards, I felt so good I could walk around and I felt ready to go home.
Word of warning, some people have bad epidural experiences where they headaches and spinal problems. If I wasn’t such a wimp, I’d totally want to go all natural (no drugs). There are lots of classes and methods you could study that focus on non-medicated birthing and teach you about pain management. Bradley method, hypnobirthing, water births… just a few things of many things you can investigate.

C.section is a lot more painful but natural birth is sure painful too but it hurts most right there n then won’t take long to heal n back to ur normal self but c.section it takes 2-4weeks 4 u 2 heal, don’t let them give u the section if u can have tha baby okay with natural birth doctors like to do C.sections because they get a lot of money out of it and its also to teach future doctors they be watching when its been perform. so honey so no to C.section if u can push good enough for ur little Angle 2 come out!!! here is some tips to have natural birth and spend less hours in labor, 1. Get a enough Sleep through out de whole pregancy, 2. Eat well/Healthy, N 3. Excise ask ur doc what’s tha best excise 4 u! once again do all diz three thingz through out tha whole pregancy. Good Luck Sweetie:}
