The pushing is a relief! It does hurt when the baby crowns, but the pain is very shortlived and is entirely overshadowed by the knowledge that you are DONE!!! I would say that the contractions hurt worse than the pushing, but I only pushed for about 20 min and she was fully born. The contractions were much more intense than the pushing.
