The hardest part for me was actually having to push her head out. It burned like nothing i’ve felt before. I could deal with the contractions and the pressure but pushing her head out felt like trying to pry your fingers apart. I tore a little bit but thank god I only had to push for 20 minutes. Everything else was a cake walk.
The very beginning. Because you know you have a long road ahead of you. Once your in labor for several hours and you get closer to the end, adreneline takes over and it get very exciting, although painful and the same time.
To be blunt and honest it hurts the most when the head is just coming out. They call it the ring of fire but not to scare you it is more like the ring of turture. Maybe it was just me but that hurt me the worst. I ended up with 32 stiches.
The pain before you can start pushing. Your body wants to push, but the doctors say not yet. What do the doctors know, anyway?? I wanted to know exactly how long I would have to endure the pain and obviously couldn’t get a precise answer. Thankfully it was only very painful for about 15 minutes before I was allowed to push, and then it was much better.
To be completely honest with you for me the worst and most difficult part was the pre-delivery until I became fully dialated.
I went into labour on the morning I was due at 5.31am on 06/06/06. My waters broke naturally at that time and half an hour later I started having contractions. It wasn’t until 1pm on the 07/06/06 that I was fully dialated and was able to start pushing. That was the hardest part.
The easiest part was the pushing because I was actively doing something to help progress the birth of my baby or so I thought. After pushing for 3 hours I had to be delivered by emergency c-section, due my pelvis being to narrow to accomodate my little baby of 7lbs 1oz. Even though I pushed for three hours, I still think that was the easiest part.
Really hope this doesn’t worry you. Some women are very lucky and have their babies very quickly
The most difficult for me was feeling the baby actually tunneling down with each contraction and still having to breathe VERY slowly. It also hurt as the baby was coming out, and although I did go natural without medication or epidural, my doctor gave me a local shot down there because of the extreme pain I felt as the baby was coming out.
I had my 3rd in water. It was awesome. The condractions were difficult but managable. I had a doula and my hubby to help. I suggest having a doula. The most difficult was between 8.5 and 10 cms. It last about 15 minutes and I thought I’d throw up, but my doula took care of me and it went great. Two pushes and my son was born.

Part? What do you mean part?
The pushing vs the actual labor?
