In water birth, is the umbrilical cord cut UNDERWATER or in the air?

Under water I believe, but should not really matter.

Does it matter? It will have a clamp thing on it right?

they cut it under water cause after baby is born it is attached to baby but it is also attached to placenta that is still in your body. It will be clamped and like I said it is attached to your placenta that will be delivered right after birth so It wont matter and it will not hurt baby. You cannot feel it and baby wont either.
