Is there anyone esle who is or have had a home water birth?
ByHi, i am 20 weeks pregnant and due in june 30th and am having a home water birth!! Cant wait! I have already got a little girl who is 18 months old. I had ashlee in hospital. Thanks.
I am planning a home water birth just as it seems a nice way to give birth not as a pain relief. In the hospital i never had any pain relief apart from the helpful gas and air! Thanks.
Just in response to the second question – i think its very important to be completely aware of whats happening and not to be drugged up to the eyeballs. Yeah it is very painfull but definatley well worth it. Thanks for reply.

I never had home water birth before, but i don’t think it any helpful to easy the pain, if there is solution for contraction i think every woman will choose to go easy way…but if you choose to have the baby in the water it’s your decision, good luck

I would never even consider this! Why go through the pain if you don’t HAVE to!?!? I am not judging you though. Good Luck to you and congrats on the new addition to your family!!!

I am due with my first child June 9th and am taking the advice of my sister-in-law who delivered a home water birth in January. It’s so funny to see someone else who is planning on doing that. My sister-in-law said that she had doubts about the whole water birth thing, but it turned out to be one of her best deliveries. She said she felt more relaxed and the sensation of the warm water helped when contractions got bad. We’ll see how it goes but i think it’s so cool that you too are doing one. Congrats:)
