Iman surprised us and came 10 days early. He made his special appearance on Monday, October 5 at 3:15pm. He was 7 pounds, 2 ounces and 19 inches long. Our delivery story was hilarious, Enjoy!

Everything goes numb after the baby comes out. I felt the head come out – but didn’t feel the shoulders or anything else come out. After the delivery, I was great. I got out of the pool and walked over to the bed. I was more tired than anything. Oh, and you are gonna feel cramping in your stomach (your uterus shrinking)

He’s beautiful =) Although I am curious and you seem so eager to share information, after his whole body has come out, what is the pain after that? Is it completely gone or are you sore or what?

Thanks for letting me know. I want to have my 4th one next year and would like a home birth, but if not, then North Fulton is a good second option.

Y’all gave some great info near the end about what to expect. Most info is about what to expect before but you guys give a real good overview of how to handle the birth–especially natural birth. I’m not even close to being ready for a child but I learned a lot from you guys, thanks and congrats on your baby.

The pelvic rocks worked…he was anterior “the ideal way to be.” He turned by my 38th week. Keep me posted on the rotation of your baby. Good Luck!

So was he born posterior or did he end up turning?

What a wonderful birth story! Don’t you feel so proud that you did it naturally? My girl was born on the 6th, but I haven’t done a video yet.

I did get one stitch..but I didn’t have to. They said that if I didn’t get the stitch then it’ll just burn for a longer period of time when I urinated. Um, still a little struggle breast feeding – he is getting better though. The nipple guard was a life saver.

well done. Did you need any stitches? They tried to give my baby formula too, but you have to stand up to them. It took me a week to get the hang of breastfeeding and 2 weeks to feel like second nature. Your son is such a cutie
