regular birth or water birth?which is better?
Byok i already have a daughter and when i had her i did regular birth with no epidural and it hurt VERY bad!!!
im pregnant again and would like to know if a water birth is easier and will the water help sooth the contractions..
the reason i didn’t get an epidural before is because when i got to the hospital i was ready to start pushing and it was to late…
so i wanted to know if water birth is easier less pain full and all of that! and is it better for the baby not to be born in the water or is it 100% safe? i have not ever looked into it so im curious…
thanks so much!
and if you can will you answer my other question?!?

Well, you should try a water birth but make sure you do it with trained professionals guiding you. It would be pretty cool to experience both so that you can compare and contrast them. Good luck.

I learned in child psych that water births are more prone to cause infections to baby and mom. I think thats something you need to talk to a docmidwife about for more accurate info.

I have heard that the water birth does not lessen the pain any, but relieves your joints of some of the pressure.
I have also heard of the placenta detaching quickly and then the baby does not have the oxygen it needs because it is under water so research the method before trying it.
I had my 4 the regular way and only had an epidural with the last one. Yes, it hurts like nothing else on this planet but has an end that is so marvelous I guess I was able to deal with it in my own way- and Lamaze helped a great deal!

Water birth is better as your baby can swim immediately after being born and it can be healthier and against a lot of diseases when growing up.

water birth is said to be safe for the baby because the baby don’t start breathing until the umbilical cord touches air. it is supposed to relief some of the pain , but im not sure cause i didn’t try it.
here is Link to water birth Vedio”maybe youll have to register to the website first, babycenter.com, to watch it ”
