The Reid Family Home Water Birth

By pregnantnews

The water birth of our second child, our first to be born at home. It was the most amazing and wonderful experience and amazingly manageable. I never got to the point where I didn’t think I could do it. Baby was born weighing 11 lbs and 3 oz and 22 inches long, without a tear thanks to my wonderful midwife. Baby was just healthy. Mom did not have gestational diabetes.

Just wanted to say wonderful video. I am due in November with my second child and we are doing a home/water birth. It is so empowering to see and hear what other women have done. My daughter was 9lb 3oz. So this baby might be bigger. I am not doing red rasp tea yet..I am doing Magnesium Oritate though…supposed to be WONDERFUL. Average length of total labor till birth 4 hours. WOO HOO. And a tincture that you do the last 5weeks only. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to your family.
