How can switch from breastfeed to bottle feed?

By pregnantnews

My daughter is 4 months old. We try to change her from breastfeed to bootle feed so my wife can go to work. My daughter won’t drink breastmilk from the bottle for 2 days now. She cries a lot when she hungry. Her food only rice cereal mix with breastmilk now. How long I should try until she drinks from the bottle? Thanks,

Try different nipples on the bottle. Sometimes a baby prefers a different kind of nipple. You might have to try a few before you find one baby likes.

**Obama did you read the question at all before ranting???

aaaaaahhh, she has not ate formula for days??? She could be getting dehydrated…you need to slowly convert from the nipple to the bottle…like switch back and forth, so that you baby gets used to the nipple. Also, get the bottle nipples that are most like the mama’s nipple. They have a lot of diffrent styles. Try diffrent ones until you find the one that she likes the best…but for God sake feed her something!!

No rice until 6 months, babies lack the enzyme needed to digest anything other than breastmilk.
Try a sippy cup; hopefully your wife is still going to breastfeed and a sippy cup will cause less problems with nursing.
