How soon after I stop breastfeeding will my body go back to normal?
ByMy son is 2 months old, I planned to breastfeed him until he is 3 months old .. but I got Mastitis in one breast and have been supplementing with formula (along with breastmilk) and I seem to have lost a lot of my milk supply so I might end up switching to only formula sooner.
My question is:
How soon after stopping the breastfeeding will my body go back to normal?
Like:
When will my hormones go back to normal?
When will my breasts go back to normal size?
When will I get my period again?

It varies for each person. When I stopped breastfeeding, I got my period 1 month later. My breasts gradually got smaller 3-4 weeks later. I was able to really cut back on calories and start exercising after I quit breastfeeding (I tried exercising when I was breastfeeding and I found my milk supply really diminished) and this helped bring my weight back down and my breasts continued to get smaller. My hormones gradually balanced back out a few months after I quit breastfeeding. It’s hard work for your body to return to normal. I found that after my 2nd child, my weight is the same as before I was pregnant with the 2nd but the weight is distributed differently.

define normal -you carried a fetus for almost a year which stretched your body. learn to enjoy your new body, take the baby for daily walks, eat a healthy diet, and see your gyn.

You’re body and breasts will NEVER be as they were before you were pregnant, no matter how much you exercise or diet.
That’s the joy of being a mother, one of the many sacrafices you will have to make. My breasts seemed like they shrunk a size after I was done and hormones well … they got a little worse around my monthly’s than they were previously. And I got my period back before I finished nursing both my children.

How soon after stopping the breastfeeding will my body go back to normal? Never, your body is no longer the same as it was before you got pregnant.
When will my hormones go back to normal? They ARE normal for a woman who has had a baby.
When will my breasts go back to normal size? LMAO…You had a baby, they’re as they are going to be…except they’re going to sag more as you get older.
When will I get my period again? I don’t remember when I got mine after having my daughter…
