Is there any way to get a newborn back to breastfeeding after two weeks on a bottle?
ByMy wife had difficulty breastfeeding after delivery so she was expressing milk which we gave to our newborn in a bottle. Now she wants to breastfeed again, but our newborn won’t grab her the right way. Any suggestions or websites?

It might be a good idea for her to use silicon nipple protectors at first, it will be more like a bottle for the baby, and it will prevent her getting hurt from the beginning. I breastfeed with these since my baby was born, last week I had to give her a bottle and she didnt seem to notice a difference.
Good luck!!!!

Both answerers above have provided great answers. I may get thumbs down for this, but to encourage baby back to breast, she may need to get a bit hungry. Instead of offering a bottle immediately after a failed breastfeeding attempt, give it a little bit and offer the breast again. As long as her milk is still flowing baby will get it probably within the day.
She has to be persistent. Keep offering the breast. If things get to hectic then obviously give her a bottle, but she will feed from breast best if she is a little hungry…NOT frantically hungry though.

She needs to keep trying at breastfeeding, somehow he’ll get use to it or even reach out for it! Goodluck.
