You probably have lost your supply because you are limiting the breast time and then offering formula – that is a fast track to weaning. Let baby nurse as often and as long as he wants on one side – burp and then offer the other side. He may or may not take it. My daughter always only nurses from one side at a time.
It is very possible to nurse through this pregnancy and then tandem nurse both your babies. I will star this as some of my contacts have done so and will have advice.

Breastmilk is based on supply and demand. 5 min on eash breast is not near long enough. If baby will nurse for ten min on each side that would be much better. However, with another pg, its hard to say what your supply will do. It may be okay, but it may dry up too. Only tip i really have is to breastfeed often and for as long as baby wants to. When there is nothing there baby should let you know

The idea “Eat for two” is way off. If you think about it, the baby isn’t the size of an adult so why would you eat for two. You should raise your calorie count by around 500 calories. As for breastfeeding, it will only get more painful the longer you do it. Your uterus contracts when you breastfeed so you might want to stop once you hit about 6 mos. preggo. Talk to your gyno to be sure.

You can get nipple shields, they go over your nipple and may help with the soreness your feeling.

Drop the formula unless you want your baby to be a formula fed bub. If you want to continue breastfeeding it is really important to keep the baby on as long as he or she wants to be on.
Im pretty sure if you buy those shields you will have a more comfortable feed, after all this is the reason they were created.
