What are good ways to stop or cut down breastfeeding my 19month old daughter?

By pregnantnews

Im not depriving her of breastfeeding, but since she was sick a month ago now she wont drink her milk and she has not been eating very well. She needs her dairy milk as much as breastfeeding so please don’t think im being greedy by taking her off. I just want to be able to cut her breast feedings down to only once or twice a day

Don’t offer but don’t refuse. Try to avoid areas where she would normally want to get up and nurse, like sitting together or specifics times.

Also, keep her distracted if you think it might be about ‘that’ time. Maybe with some cooking or letting her help make a snack.

Maybe just start by cutting out a feeding during the day besides at nap time and just do that for a couple days until she is just down to nap time and bedtime..Congrats on still nursing at 19 months…
