Natural birth vs. epidural? Pros and cons to both.?
Posted by: | CommentsOkay I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I’m not opposed to medical drugs during pregnancy at all, however just recently I have been thinking about attempting to have a natural childbirth. What are the pros and cons to both? What do i have to worry abouth an epidural? Thanks!
What is is called when you have a delivery with drugs, vag style?
Posted by: | CommentsI always though “natural childbirth” is drug free, so what do they call it when you get relief?
Natural child birth… should I do it?
Posted by: | CommentsI am only eight weeks pregnant, but I am thinking about having my baby natural.
Have any of you had a natural childbirth (no epidural)? What does it feel like and would you do it again? When is it too late to change your mind? Serious answers only please. Thanks!
And yes… I know to discuss this with my doctor and I will at my next appointment.
Why do you forget the pain of giving birth?
Posted by: | CommentsI have spoke to many people who have had natural childbirth including myself and you forget the pain you went through. I only remember bits and pieces of having my son.I do remember being in pain but it’s real faint. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Do you feel the same way? I was in labor for 17 hours. My son is now 3 1/2 years old and it was shortly after I felt this way.

Help natural birth tips?
Posted by: | CommentsI need tips on pain management and everything to do with natural childbirth. I want to start preparing myself. It isn’t about being a tough woman for me. I just think that this is how I want it to be. I’m birthing in a birth center inside a hospital so I’m as safe as any birth but I want as few interventions as possible, I especially don’t want meds. I haven’t had so much as tylenol in 9 months so why start now? My body was made for this. What worked for you?
What kind of pain medication did you have during labor, delivery and afterwards?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m curous to know the effects of different medications on different people. Which ones didn’t work, which ones did and such.
Don’t bother telling me about all natural childbirth, I’ve already done it.
pressured into childbirth with meds?
Posted by: | CommentsDoes anyone feel like you’re almost being pressured into using pain medicine (epidural) rather than natural childbirth? I would like to give natural childbirth a shot…but everyone says I’m crazy and I’m stupid and there’s no way I will be able to do it. Then my doctor reminded me at my last visit that they “believe in pain relief and pain management” and whenever I ask questions about natural childbirth on Yahoo! Answers I’ve gotten responses such as “don’t try to be a cowboy” and “the nurses and doctors will think you’re being silly”
I feel like I’m almost being pressured into using pain meds…and people think I’m crazy for wanting to try a natural birth. Anyone else feel like this?
What are the pros and cond of choosing epidurals during pregnancy?
