Am I the only ‘bad’ mom out there not using BPA free bottles and pacifiers?
Posted by: | CommentsEveryone keeps telling me I need to switch to BPA free bottles and pacifiers. I value my baby’s health, but do I really need to spend the money to get new bottles and pacifiers (I know its not that much, but is it necessary?). How many other mothers out there still use bottles that are not BPA free?
Question about baby bottles and bpa?
Posted by: | CommentsI have been using playtex ventaire. I just saw a question about bpa in bottles. I have never heard of anything of the sort. Can someone please give me more information.
Are Gerber NUK orthodontic bottles BPA free?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve looked everywhere and found nothing. Also, are the nipples interchangeable with any other type of bottle?
I breastfeed too but after a month of exclusively bfing my daughter didn’t gain any weight so my doctor asked me to supplement with formula after she breastfeeds to fill her up. The problem is I don’t want to use bottles with BPA but my daughter will not take to any other nipple besides the nuk one.

I would like to stick with the 8 to 9oz sizes
There is no recycle number on the bottom of these bottles, they are made in China. I am worried about the safety of feeding my twins without knowing what type of plastic is used.
Should the government issue a BPA recall and ban?

are non-bpa free bottle only harmful if they are heated?
Posted by: | CommentsI saw on Tyra Banks Show that non bpa plastic bottle are only harmful to babies if they are heated because the harmful chemical breaks down when exposed to heat such as boiling water. Is this true? Is it still okay to use non-bpa plastic bottles if you’re only using it for cold/cool drinks such as apple juice?
Is there a link between vent-aire bottles and BPA?
Posted by: | CommentsI purchased the vent-aire bottles 5 years ago for my oldest son, then used them with my now 3 year old son and am still using them with my 6 week old son. I am now hearing about these toxins in these plastic bottles. I really like the bottles and want to keep using them. Is this still relevant even if the bottles were purchased 5 years ago and have been heated over and over again. Questions, comments, suggestions are appreciated!
