miscarriage and ttc right away?
Posted by: | CommentsUnfortunately we had a miscarriage on October the 22/23. We were 7 weeks, measuring at 5 weeks. One the 26th my hcg was down to 20, on the 29th down to 4. Our doctor told us it would be best to wait one full cycle but if we got pregnant right away it wouldn’t matter.I had a natural miscarriage and did not need a d&c, my miscarriage was relatively simple, minor blood loss, no real cramping or clotting… I know that I am ovulating right this very second. We had egg white cm a day and a half ago and I woke up with o pains this morning, my cm isint as egg white as it was a day and a half ago but still very “slippery”, but yesterday was when I knew I had some kind of estrogen kick because it was like I actually had a sex drive for the first time in two months. According to my cycle I should ovulate today,yesterday, or tomorrow. Considering I had my o pain this morning “around 7 am” and the start of that heavy cm almost 2 days ago (should be 2 days by this evening) am I fertile now? Is it the best possible time to ttc? or is it more likely that ovulation is already over.I did notice a minor temp spike .2 of a degree about an hour ago. My hubby doesn’t come home till around 7 pm? Will we miss our window? Given the timing for everything when ttc. I’m thinking I’m towards the latter end of ovulation so will it be too late too ttc by the time hubby comes home? I’m also taking a low dose of baby asprin for the past 3 days at the advice of the doctor, to increase the uterine lining… and doubling up on folic acid on top of prenatal and eating healthy. I’ve had a constant supply of prenatals for 2 months, and have been doubling up on the folic acid for about 10 days….
Again… please read before responding…. I already have the okay from my doctor to TTC… that was not my question
miscarriage question?
Posted by: | Commentsi had a miscarriage very early monday morning (12:30 am) and was given a medication to make my body contract to get rid of the extraa tissue that was left in my uterus. my question is, i did not have much cramping and bleeding after they gave it to me and they told me i owuld have alot. i started having it about 24 hours after they gave it to me. well, it is now thursday, and i am in so much pain, i feel like i am miscarrying all over again. i want to know if this is normal, or if i whould be worried about an infection, since i am a carrier of MRSA from uterine surgery i had done just before the pregnancy. please help me, noone is available in my doctors office yet. thank you.
im not sure why a d&c was not done, my dr is a ob surgeon, so when i go see him in 2 weeks, he may want to do that. i just had one for unrelated reasons before i got pregnant though, so i have no idea, and to the 18 year old, kiss it. you have no idea what it is to lose a child, and i dont value your oppinion, and think you should not answer questions that you are only going to give people more grief for than they are already going thru.
Looking for encouragement after halted D&C….
Posted by: | CommentsThis morning I had a D&C scheduled to remove uterine polyps. I took Cytotex yesterday and Valium and Vicodin this morning (all prescribed), but the Cytotex didn’t dilate my cervix enough, and the doc had to do it herself. It was excruciating. By the time she could see my uterus, I was trembling all over and my teeth were chattering. I had to make her stop, and I’m going back in 2.5 weeks to do it again with general anesthesia (an extra $500, which is why I skipped it the first time). I feel awful. Aside from the cramping, which is continuing, I feel like a wimp and a failure. And I probably won’t ovulate for g-d knows how long. And I’ll be bleeding for about a month between today and next time and can’t swim for the rest of the summer (could risk infection), which is something that relaxes me and makes me happy…
I’m back in the bad place of I Will Never Have A Baby and I’m Tired of Painful Procedures. Would love some encouraging words. Thank you so much.

i have a problem could i be pregnant……?
Posted by: | CommentsI bled for almost 7 months after having my daughter! I had went to the doc numerous times and got the same thing…dysfunctional uterine bleeding!!!! Well darnit tell me something i dont know! lol well i went to the e.r because i was cramping sooo bad. They put me on straight PROgestorone. I stopped bleeding just 2 days after and have not started back up yet…I have been having alot more bowl movements and i have been feeling well i dont know just kinda weird i suppose. My husband and i do have ALOT of unprotected sex…I took a pregnancy test though it showed up neg. I know it could still be to soon. BUT my breasts are itchy and kinda swollen. I have been pregnant 3 but have only 1 child. So not sure exactly about these things….Could I still be pregnant???????
can i still get my period if i’m pregnant?
Posted by: | CommentsI read all the articles saying that your uterine lining is being taken out naturally when a woman has her period, but I haven’t had mine in like two months and I do think I’m pregnant. I took about four test in the last month and a half. today, i got my period. i dont know if its just spotting or what ever. My real question, I guess is: will you get the same symptoms you get (cramping, bloating, etc…) when you have your period as when you are pregnant and just having what they call the “light bleeding”. Because I am having all the regular symptoms of a period but i do still think I’m pregnant.
Anyone had a D&C without anesthesia?
Posted by: | CommentsIn three weeks I’m having a D&C to remove uterine polyps that showed up on ultrasound and HSG; doctor says there’s a good chance they are preventing conception (TTC more than a year).
She is giving me Valium, Vicodin, and something to relax my cervix (Cytotex, I believe–scripts are at the pharmacy). I do have the option of general anesthesia, but it will cost me $500. She says it will take about 10 minutes and that I’ll have cramping but it shouldn’t be terrible. I am pretty tough about these things, but I’m nervous. Anyone have any experiences to share? I’d rather save the $500 for IVF if I need it down the road…

I went to the ER last night because of light bleeding cramping and lower back ache. Did an ultrasound and the doc said it didn’t look like a normal pregnancy should look like at 7 weeks. She said there was a clot or a collection of uterine tissue that looked like it would pass through the cervix, and it did, it was about the size of 1/2 tsp. After the ultrasound was done, I started bleeding more heavily and passed what looked like a blood clot a little bit larger than 1/2 tsp. I was very upset when the doc came in to go over all the test results with me, so I didn’t ask any questions. Now I’m kickin myself in the butt for it. I’m just wondering if anyone else has bled and passed tissue and still carried on with a healthly pregnancy?
I forgot to add she found a small vaginal bacterial infection, but said it wasn’t likely that it caused the bleeding and cramping. Being treated with antibiotics now.
I also forgot to say she checked my hormone levels and said they were not as high as they should be at this point. She said it was possible for them to double in a couple days, but not so likely.

D&C questions concerning bleedling???
Posted by: | CommentsI recently had a D&C (8 May) to clear out my uterus from a lost twin pregnancy (diagnosed as blighted ovums). I was 9wks5dys. I bled the day that the D&C performed with minor cramping. My bleeding seems unusually light, as I only had to wear a pad for the first 24 hours (didn’t even really need it the last 12 hours of that). It’s the 10th May today, and my “bleeding” is just a couple drops of old blood occaisonally (tmi, I know). Is it normal to bleed so little?? Does the lack of blood mean that they scraped the uterine lining away as well?? I was told at the hospital that they do everything they can to leave the lining in place, but I am concerned, as I want to TTC soon. The mw told me to wait one cycle, but if I were to fall pregnant before my first cycle, thier only real concern would be dating the pregnancy… does/has anyone had successful pregnancies that soon after a D&C?? Hubby is due out soon with work and will be gone for several months… so, it’s now or in 6-8 mths
Is a hard uterus an early pregnancy symptom?

It feels like tiny knots and stuff but only felt if im like standing up.I’ve had other pregnancy symptoms including cramping which is every other day for a few seconds but test said negative. I had a “period” but it was nothing like the ones Ive been getting sine I started and im 17 now so they were regular but not this one. Lighter.I had sex on thanksgiving and about 3 or 2 days prior to and i statrted bleeding on the first.(Im not saying my uterus is extending but just getting harder.
Bleeding on 14th day of my cycle?
Posted by: | CommentsWe are planning for a baby. My last period expected was May 10th..It didnt turn up..So my gynac started me on Provera and i got my periods on May 29th. I had my HSG on june 5th. I was quite ok after the HSG..No spotting ….but yesterday june 10, i started having light spotting…and when i wipe i see bloodstains…HAving stomach cramping and backache. Today morning the blood stain was darker…Not enough to fill a pad.
I had called my gynac she told me the dye which was used for HSG is shedding the uterine lining from the uterus. Nothing to worry.
I am confused whether this should be counted as period…or whether later after some days i will get my periods again. What about my ovulation this month…
Please do advice.
