Vans Warped Tour 2011 questions.?
ByQuestion by KaitlynKupcake: Vans Warped Tour 2011 questions.?
I have a few questions about Warped Tour, obviously, and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I’ll probably have more later on as I talk to my parents and such, but for now these are what I have. (:
1. Is it safe to bring a 12 year old? Would they need constant supervision?
2. How much extra spending money should I bring.
3. What exactly is “reverse daycare”. I know it’s a place where parents can hang out, but what happens? haha.
4. What time should I get in line?
5. Do they allow you to bring your own sharpie’s, water bottles, and food (small things like granola bars) in?
6. What time is closing?

1. if he’s not going to the mosh pit it’s fine
2. at least 0 – shirts are around , drinks can be up to , and food is a lot too. but it really depends on how long your going to be there and how much merch you want to buy
3. In the reverse daycare, it’s only adults allowed in and they provide you with air conditioning and movies to watch. Also, free water.
4. get there 2 hours before gates open, if you have presale you’re in a different line but it depends where the warped tour is, if its a big city you should earlier
5. you’re only allowed 1 sealed bottle of water, if you have more they take it away, you can take in small snacks
6. times vary like if theirs going to be a thunderstorm they close a lot earlier but if everything goes good they start to warp up at around 9 or 10.
hope i helped and have fun (:

1. In the pits, as long as he doesn’t complain. If you’re down to having a good time, you’ll HAVE it. If you’re there to whine about how bad the pits are, get out. If you’re just walking about with the 12 year old, why not? He’ll have a good time with the music scene atmosphere around him.
2. Beverages are expensive, ranging from $4-$5. Most venues don’t let you bring in anything. I would bring anywhere from $20-$30 for drinks alone, you don’t want to get dehydrated. As for merch, however much you want to buy.
3. Reverse daycare is just a huge tent for parents. There’s movies, games, air conditioning, food, water, just the basic needs to keep them busy all day. Most parents get bored after awhile, though.
4. Doors open at 11, depending on how many people usually attend your date of the tour, you probably want to get into line around 8/9.
5. Sharpies-yes, water bottles-usually no, small snacks-yes. Bring extra water bottle caps because vendors usually take them.
6. The gates close around 8/9, depending on the schedule for the day.
