When can I start to wear maternity clothing?
ByI’m 8 weeks pregnant. You can’t tell I’m pregnant, but I sure as heck can. All my clothing feel WAY too tight and I just don’t feel comfortable wearing the things I use to wear. I hate wearing tight shirts now because you can she my love handles. Is now too sound to wear maternity shirts?

no, whenever you start to feel uncomfortable is when you should start wearing maternity shirts/pants.

i would just wear clothes that are comfy. not specifically maternity. but stretchy shorts or something like that.

I started between 8 and 12 weeks. In my opinion – it is more important to be comfortable than to be fashionable!

You can wear maternity clothes as soon as you want too its your body and you deserve to feel comfortable!

No, if you regular clothes are too small, then wear them.

I’m going through the same thing right now. My pants don’t fit, but unfortunatly maternity clothes will be WAY too big for you. Normally I will buy maternity clothes at around 5-6 months if this is your first. If this is your second you may fit into them around 3-4 months. Depends on your body type I guess.
I would just go and buy bigger pants for now until you can fit into maternity clothes.

You can wear them whenver you feel like it. I would go with smaller sized materniy shirts for now and as for pants you can buy a Bella Band and just continue wearing your pants unbuttoned with that.
I’m 7wks with my 3rd child…I’m too big for my regular clothes and too small for maternity so I’m improvising.

Just like any other clothing you can wear them whenever you want! Whatever you feel comfortable in.

You can start whenever you want to, but I started when I was 6 months.
I know women who wear maternity shirts and they aren’t even pregnant!
I also know women who wore regular clothes throughout their pregnancies.

I was in maternity clothing by the end of my second month! Whenever your body tells you that your clothes aren’t working for you, it’s time to go to comfortable maternity clothes or clothes that are a size larger.

I’m 6 weeks pregnant!! I’m already a little bit chubby and I could pull of maternity clothes, but i’m gonna wait til after the 1st trimester to buy anything!! Congratulations!!

maternity clothes are there for you when your other clothes are too tight, so id say now is the perfect time to start buying them and wearing them! they might look a little big at first but trust me you will grow into them, and out of them!

That depends on the woman. If you are umcomfy in your normal clothes then it’s fine to start buying maternity clothes…

Nope… if you’re not comfortable in your old clothes… go try on some maternity things.
I seriously couldn’t keep the pants up until I was 25 weeks along. So I would wear the shirts and dresses. They’re comfy and made me look *more* pregnant – (because no one could even tell for forever.)
Warning however… that maternity clothing is expensive. One comfy pair of jeans and some kind of khakis with draw strings are what I wear most. And I didn’t even bother with the underwear. I just bought bigger bras and undies. It seems like because it says “maternity” that they feel they can mark the price up. Best of luck to you and congrats!!!

this is totally up to you. but i didn’t wear maternity clothes until i was about 7 months and that was just shirts i was still wearing my old jeans, but my belly was to big to fit under my shirts they would ride up in the front exposing all my stretch marks from being FAT before i got pregnant LOL ( i lost 30 pounds before getting pregnant)

I started wearing them as soon as my regular clothes stopped fitting around my growing belly. Congrats on your pregnancy!
As “tacky” as it may be, I wore maternity tops for at least 4 weeks after I had my daughter to hide the belly afterwards.

Bella bands are great for allowing you to open your pre-preggo pants and have them covered, and to help you hold up the bigger pregnancy pants when they’re still too big.
I was about 8wks when i started wearing the maternity clothes. Nobody will hold it against you for wanting to be Comfy! Plus the GREAT thing right now is that many of the empire waisted shirts are in style so you can just buy a larger size of the flowy shirts that hide the belly that are popular instead of paying WAY too much for “Maternity” clothes
Also, if you’ve got a goodwill nearby its the best way to get cheap bigger clothes. Buying new maternity clothes is the biggest waste of money (save the money for a new wardrobe after baby…you’ll need it) Either go to secondhand shops for maternity clothes or get donations from people who have kids (who most likely have maternity clothes sitting around in the back of their closets)
Hope this helped

wear maternity clothes whenever you want. i have been wearing them for a couple of weeks now. my old pants just don’t feel right anymore they are too tight and don’t go down around my belly like the maternity pants do. plus the stretch makes it more comfortable for sitting regular pants just don’t have the stretch and i have found that when i sit down i usually have to unbutton them. as for shirts you can either buy maternity or look into getting some flowy shirts. maybe a size bigger. i have both maternity and bigger sizes. lucky for me i haven’t had to buy much as most of it was given to me or bought for me.

where ur baggy clothes that u might have then move on to maternity, go back urself some maternity stuff and then u will feel better wearin that. obviously it is your choice and when you feel you need to, and if ur clothes are getin tighter then u can start wearin them.
