Where do you buy your maternity wear?

By pregnantnews

I usually always get my maternity wear from Old Navy. This season I am really not impressed with much they are offering. I am 17 weeks and starting to need longer shirts and maternity jeans (darn). I need some idea as to where to look for stylish maternity wear. I do not want to spend tons of money on clothes I am only going to wear for a few months. My budget is about $1000, any ideas where I could get a Spring/Summer wardrobe in this price range?
♥Delilah-Belle is due 4/28/09♥ Kiki’s is awesome! Cute tops, awsome prices, very stylish! Thanks alot.
Motherhood Maternity seems to be going with the same “frumpy” styles Old Navy, guess it’s the trend this year. I refuse to be a “frumpy” preggie!
I am spending around $1000 as I like to look nice. I hate wearing the same old thing over and over so I like to have a large selection. Just think a pair of maternity jeans are anywhere from $30-$80 so 5 pairs of jenas is already $250. Tops ange from $20-$40. So 10 tops is around $300. That’s already over $500 and that’s without capris/shorts/dresses/skirts! So $1000 really doesn’t go that far.

I get money back out of it by putting it on eBay after I wear them for one pregnancy unless I really like something, then I keep it.

I like Kiki’s for tops and Seven For Mankind jeans are very, very stylish, I think I am going to buy a few pairs!

Motherhood Maternity, Target, and JC Penny are stores I looked at. Motherhood Maternity definitely had the most trendy clothes out of the three, followed by Target.

Edit: I have to agree. That kikis page looks great. Go with them.

Affordable (She has an Ebay Store as well)

Very stylish!

I have gotten my maternity clothes from her since my last pregnancy.

Motherhood has the best clothes, it’s really expensive though

I was going to say Motherhood Maternity but I just looked at the Kikifashion link and you are better off going there. Make sure you get quite a few dresses that you can wear for doing errands and leisure. Those are the most comfortable and definitely a perk of being due in the summer. I am due in March and never got to wear dresses or anything loose like that. The prices on that site are great though..alot better than MM. Good luck mama!

I just bought my first pair of maternity jeans. I got them at target. The selection was really poor, they were the only pair of maternity jeans they had. And it was a Super Target!! I have looked at Old Navy’s website but not in their stores.

i felt the same way about motherhood!! There is an H&M at the mall near me and they have a small maternity section that i got a few pair of really cute pants from. Most of my tops i got from Target. Actually 1/2 of the tops i’m wearing right now, (18 weeks preg.) aren’t even maternity tops, they’re just long and loose ones, or empire waist, in a bigger size, from target. Also, Liz Lange stuff at target is pretty cute. happy shopping!!

Wow! You have a large budget for maternity clothes! Are you sure you even want to spend that much? You will only be wearing them for about 4 1/2 months. But lucky anyhow! Try Target.

I usually buy my maternity clothes at Old Navy but agree that they are not offering much right now. I also like Target and Kohls.
