Are Gerber NUK orthodontic bottles BPA free?
ByI’ve looked everywhere and found nothing. Also, are the nipples interchangeable with any other type of bottle?
I breastfeed too but after a month of exclusively bfing my daughter didn’t gain any weight so my doctor asked me to supplement with formula after she breastfeeds to fill her up. The problem is I don’t want to use bottles with BPA but my daughter will not take to any other nipple besides the nuk one.

I don’t think they are. The NUK pacifiers are BPA free though.

I looked too and I couldn’t find anything either. I do think that the NUK pacifiers are though…just as an FYI.
I’m not sure about the interchanging b/c I BF but here is a website I found that lists some interchangeable bottles and parts. Unfortunately Gerber wasn’t one of them though, sorry. Good luck!

I called Gerber and they said they are NOT BPA free. I switched to BornFree glass bottles and my baby loves it!

nuk bottles are not BPA free however the pacifiers are. Heres my source:

this site keeps a comprehensive list of all bottles that are bpa free.
i noticed the gerber gentle flow is BPA free. Generally, if your nipple is a standard regular neck you should be able to attach it to another regular neck bottle.
Walmart also sells a pack of bpa free bottles for 2.88 that are regular neck. you could purchase these and swap the nipple to see if it works.

I have not found any news either. After breastfeeding for 6 months, the ONLY nipple my son would drink from was the NUK (the wide one). Since they have BPA, the bottles had to go and so I bought a few BPA free bottles to see if the NUK nipples would fit in them. I discovered that the NUK nipples fit reasonably well in the Gerber Gentle Flow bottles! They might leak a tiny bit if the milk is too hot, but this rarely happens. This has been my solution! Good luck!
