By pregnantnews

I’m looking for baby bottles BPA free. I dont want to use glass and I see ebay have brand new Born Free plastic bottle (BPA free) is that true? or all bpa free bottle should be in glass? and another question, the nuby bottle, they are cheaper compares to born free but the nipple things, Its hard to suck, how do I replace it with? I am currently use dr browns plastic one and the vent system is hard to wash. So I hope you guys recommend me good BPA free bottles and tell me more about it. Thanks
what is “with liner” means? I see a lot of people say that but i have no idea what is it
another question: if i don’t heat my bottle, does it prevent a lil bpa???
i know all bottle have bpa and i want to know. is bpa comes only when you heat the bottle? if you don’t heat, can you still have bpa in bottle??

I just threw away all my bottles and opted for BPA free bottles. Walmart is on the band-wagon and has started getting rid of all bottles containing BPA… they have a 3-pack BPA free pack of bottles for 2.87. I don’t really mind the bottles but they do not compare to the 17.00 Avent ones that I have just bought~

All Born Free products are BPA free, including all bottles and sippy cups. They also have glass bottles, but even the plastic ones are free. We strictly use Dr. Brown’s bottles and have considered buying the glass ones, but they are sold out EVERYWHERE here!!! Dr. Brown’s has BPA plastic bottles coming out in May. I am going to hold off until I can get those, pending on the supply around here! Good luck!

This site will tell you all bottles that are safe to use and those that aren’t. All glass bottles are BPA free.

These bottles fall under the excellent category and don’t contain any BPA.

**EDIT**
With liner, I think you are referring to Playtex Nursers/ Drop ins. There are BPA free as well.

NAM are free of BPA, Born free ae also. I was using ventair and just switched to the drop ins cuz of the bpa thing. I really like the drop ins.

These Gerber ones are BPA free, simple, cheap and do the trick! Thankfully I have been using them from the start!

I use the Playtex drop-ins (the ones with the liner people are telling you about). I really like them. They’re BPA-free. Here’s a demo of how they work:

Oh, and if you want to try one, playtex will send you a free one if you fill this out:

EDIT: Not all bottles contain BPA…check the list of BPA free bottles I linked above. BPA can leach out of the bottle over time because of usual wear and tear. You’re right though, in order to keep your baby from being exposed to “dangerous” amounts of BPA, you should avoid heating the bottles in the microwave or running them through your dishwasher’s dry cycle.

Adiri has become a very popular choice for those in search of BPA Free bottles. One look and you can see these are unique bottles. The design speaks for itself so those who are looking for a “Best of Breed” bottle that is BPA Free should look at these.

Don’t forget glass as a great alternative as well. Just keep an eye out for the right nipple. NurturePure has a good selection and they are not a “Big Box” company. Silicone nipples are also a must.

Sippy Cups and Pacifiers are also a concern for me. I did so a good deal of research and came across this site. http://www.bpafreekid.com. It’s a blog like safemama but seemed to have less of a commercial feel.

The Natursutten is and “organic” BPA Free pacifier. Yahoo BPA Free and a couple of really good sites come up. Seems like Google missed the boat on that one.

Foogo is a popular sippy cup. That blog has a good “Foogo Myth” article in it.
