Does anyone know about Dr. Brown’s BPA free bottles? ?
ByI’m looking to change to Dr. Brown’s bottles. I’m currently using Playtex nursers (so they have a wide neck). But Dr. Brown’s just came out with their BPA free bottles, and I don’t see any wide neck ones. Does anyone know if they are coming out soon? On the dr. Brown’s website it says there are wide neck bottles that are BPA free made from PES plastic made in Germany and Austria. Don’t know if they are sold here yet? Anyone know about this?

I have the bottles, I use only BPA Free ones..but I have not seen any of the wide neck ones in the stores yet. I also use Born Free Bottles…and believe it or not Walmart now has BPA free bottles. Best of luck…

not on the stores that i have been to, i’ve been to target, babies r us, walmart, cvs, Walgreen’s and they’re all the narrow size necks, however i do love dr. brown’s original bottles cause it fits the lansinoh electric breast pump so i pump straight to the bottle and store.

Well, I have the Dr. Brown BPA free bottles and cannot find the wide-neck ones either. I really liked the wide necked, but couldn’t find them. I just use the ones I can find at the store, the 8oz. “typical” bottle.
Every store I’ve gone to that sells bpa free d.b. bottles I’ve only seen the one I described above, so if you want the wide neck you might just have to order online. I very well could be wrong but still havent found it at any other stores.

you do know that the playtex nursers are now BPA free too. As long as the bottles are new you’ll be fine. I’m not sure about the dr brown bottles though. But I have the playtex ones and they are bpa free.

They stopped making the wide necks. They don’t make replacement parts for them either anymore. I guess they weren’t in demand. At least thats what babies r us told me. They might sell them in other countries where they have a better market for it though.

I don’t know, but you might try the Born Free bottles. They also have an internal vent system, similar to Dr Browns, and they are BPA free.

Born free bottles are the same size as the wide neck Dr.Browns you can even use the dr.brown vents in the born free bottle my son still had allot of gas with the born free bottles they releases the air in the milk so I tried the dr. brown vent and they fit perfectly the nipples are even the same. When Dr.Browns started making BPA free bottles I e-mailed them at ask it they would make the wide neck bottles BPA free and I was told no they had no plan to make the wide ones that are BPA free.
