Dr Browns baby bottles, does anyone know what number plastic is used to make the bottles? Worried about BPA.?
ByThere is no recycle number on the bottom of these bottles, they are made in China. I am worried about the safety of feeding my twins without knowing what type of plastic is used.

I don’t know what plastic they are made from but they are safe to use and have had many friends that have used them with no problems at all and have recommended them to me
they have to be safe to pass the British standards tests and be available in the shops plus they are not exactly cheap so they must be good….

I did like using the Dr. Brown bottles with my son, but do understand your worries. Anyways, I did a search and found that Nuby bottles are not suppost to have the BPA plastic. I have used the Nuby pacifiers, bottles and sippy cups and do think these are great items.

there is a customerservice@handi-craft.com or http://www.handi-craft.com try these, they are on my Dr.Brown bottles there is also a number on it SD-030806 I don’t know what that is for though.
I have called them and left a message so I hope they get back to me,I did some looking up on the net and supposedly they do have a high amount in them so I will make sure I talk to them.there is a brand out there called born free and I think I will look into there sippy cups as my son is 15 months and takes a couple bottles a day but usually just drinks from a sippy cup now.
