How breakable are the Munchkin glass bottles?

By pregnantnews

I am looking for BPA free bottles and I saw that Munchkin makes glass bottles, but I’m just as concerned about broken glass as I am BPA. Does anyone know anything about these bottles??
How well does the sleeve work? What about the weight of the bottle, is it more then a normal plasic bottle? Is there any chance of they baby getting hurt with it?

All I know is you can buy a rubber sleeve to put over the whole bottle, it makes it easier to grip and harder to break.

edit: I’m sorry it took so long for me to respond I was at lunch but here is a site to look at http://www.munchkin.com/products/detail.html?pID=1203

and the sleeves http://www.munchkin.com/products/detail.html?section=prodCategories&ID=10020&pID=1206

I haven’t had any problems with glass bottles. I mostly use Dr. Browns natural flow though (they are BPA free).

We have glass bottles for our boy. We use Born Free, and they’re pretty durable, but my son just broke one yesterday! We’ve dropped them a bunch of times with no breaks, but he must have dropped it just right (or wrong!) and it broke. For little babies, glass are great, but once they’re able to throw around the bottles, it’s good to switch to BPA free plastic.
