what are the best bpa free bottles?

By pregnantnews

I want to switch from Avent to a bpa free bottle. Which one is the best? I am going to return all my Avent bottles for a store credit and buy bpa free ones tonight. Please help!
I think I’m going with the drop in’s. They seem very popular and economical.

I switched from Avent to Playtex Drop In’s. They are cheap, easy to clean and most of all, BPA free.

**glass bottles could be dangerous if a shard of glass breaks off…

i personally like the old style evenflow glass bottles. my daughter drinks best from them. i like the nuby BPA-free plastic ones–they’re cheap enough, but my daughter cannot drink from the nipple. however, i just popped in the evenflow ones she’s used to and they work great.

edit to kaitlin’s comment: my baby is not old enough to throw her bottles and break them. and, as we all should, i inspect all bottles and nipples before each feeding, so glass is perfectly safe.

Born Free are the best bottles in my opinion, that’s what we use for our daughter. We started w/ Avent but I heard to many stories about Avent being the worst of the worst. I use both glass and plastic Born Free bottles and my daughter is now drinking out of they’re sippy cup. Love They’re products!!!!

I use playtex drop ins. They are safe, affordable, great for gas prevention, and not an issue with the whole BPA thing. Blessings…..

i found that buying evenflo glass bottles was cheaper than plastic and i dont have to worry about bpa at all. also, they are incredibly durable–my twins chuck them around all day and they do not break. you dont have to worry about it being unsafe to put them in the microwave or dishwasher if needs be. on the contrary you should never microwave plastic and even putting it in the dishwasher can cause plastic to leach chemicals…
