What bottles, if any, can be returned without a reciept (BPA question…)?

By pregnantnews

I have both Dr browns, and avent bottles which I have chosen not to use due to BPA. I am not using evenflo glass. Ive HEARD that some stores are taking back some bottles without reciepts. These bottles are around 3 months old. Does anyone have any real info on the subject?

babies r us takes all the “recalled” ones back without a reciept. I just took mine back and got a gift card for over $80.00 They will only give you a g/c tho without reciepts.

good luck

EDIT: I took them back on Tuesday morning. They said that there are still lots of people coming in. A friend (has twins) and took back ALL her bottles and sippy cups and got over $300.00 back. You can also go to Zellersw as they are taking them back too!!!
Avent and Platex Vent Aire are what I returned

You can take back both Dr. Browns and the Avent but I would call the store 1st and make sure they are still accepting them as I was told here in Manitoba that after May 10th, they where no longer accepting anything without a receipt.

Zellers in Canada was taking back Avent bottles without a receipt last week, but the deadline is over. Now you need a receipt. They are taking back items without original packaging.
