Since you are planning to pump, I would reccomend Medela bottles and Medela pump. These bottles are bpa free and you pump into them, store in them, and feed from them.

Just so you know, 8 to 9 oz of breastmilk is alot. Breastfeeding babies do not usually drink this much, they take less milk more often than fomula fed babies. Also, if you are exclusively pumping, 8 oz is a very ambitious goal.

I really like the Born Free bottles, I used to use Playtex Ventair until I heard about BPA than switched. I also noticed that my son was a lot less gassy with the Born Free.

If you have a Medela breastpump, the Medela bottles are BPA free. It’s so easy to pump, store, and feed from the same bottle. These bottles are about 6 oz. This is all I’ve ever needed for my baby and he’s 1 year old now. I returned the 9 oz bottles.

We use the MAM (by Sassy) and love them.
They are supposed to be good for babies who are breastfed.

Sassy Mam is much more affordable than Born Free- i dont feel comfortable with their price ranges on bottles.

Dr. Brown has BPA free polyproplyene and also has glass. But their BPA free plastic are impossible to find.

I like the playtex drop-ins. They’re BPA free but much cheaper than those bottles that are all about “BPA free”. The nipples work welll for breastfed babies and they make this “nurser” kit that has an adapter that attaches to most breast pumps so you can pump directly into the liner and then either seal it with these discs or put it right onto the nipple/bottle part.

I like Playtex dropins. They also have expandable dropins to make it easier to make 8oz bottles when they get older. I’ve used them since before I knew about the whole bpa thing and was relieved to find that they are safe.

I would go with BORN FREE
they are BPA FREE, plus if you get the gift box. you get a 9ounce bottle, 3 5ounce bottles and a starter sippy cup. plus all bottles come with stage one nipples, plus two stage two nipples for faster flow. (which my son needed as soon as he came home from the hospital, plus he was drinking 8-9 ounces every 2-4 hours the first day he came home… and continued to drink that amount until i started him on baby food at four months)
