Which brand BPA free baby bottle is best?
ByI am using Avent bottles (not BPA free) with my 4 month old but want to switch. I have been researching Bornfree and Dr. Brown bottles but am concerned about all the extra parts involved.
Also, what should I do with the Avent bottles, some of which have never been used.

I would go with Playtex Drop Ins. Not only are they BPA free but they are also much more affordable then other BPA free bottles. You can return the Avent bottles for a store credit. I did this and ended up with almost $300.00 to go baby shopping with

Playtex drop-ins are what I would recommend. if you go to PlatexBaby.com they’ve been giving away free samples.

When I found out about BFA, I switched to the Avent disposal bottles with the drop-in liners. This way, I didn’t have to introduce a new nipple to my 3 month old. With these bottles there are only three parts you have to to wash; the nipple, ring, and bottle.
If you still have the packaging, I would take the unused bottles back to the store. If not, keep them for emergencies, just make sure you don’t heat them, or toss them.

I use mam ultivent bottles to feed my daughter (14 weeks old) and previously to these I was using Avent. I always found that she dribbled loads of milk out of the sides of her mouth with the avent bottles and this doesn’t happen at all with the mam bottles. They are great for reducing colic too thanks to the way the bottles are put together and the shape of the teat seems to fit in her mouth much better than the round vaent ones. I also love the colours!!! have tried to put a link in for the site, hope it works.

Avent has BPA free bottle with drop in liners and a new reusable bottle or Gerber Gentle Flow Bottle also take the avent nipple if you want to stay with that king of nipple. My son has no problem with the gentle flow, playtex drop ins mam ultra vents and bornfree ( although the bornfree sometimes leak especially when shaken )and the mam one will leak if the vent is not in right but I only had this happen the first 2 time till I got use to it.
