Who do so many people think that all Avent bottles are BPA free?
ByOn Craig’s list I see people selling avent bottles and they say they bpa free. a few stores are even selling the regular avent bottles saying bpa free and even on here I have seen replies saying all Avent bottles are bpa free. I know Avent now has a bpa free reusable bottle and there is the via system , the tempo disposable and the magic cup but they still make and sell the regular polycarbonate bottles. It is just so annoying at how people can be so uninformed.
3 of my children were breast feed till around 3.5 months when my milk dryed up them I usen avent bottles with formula and now my my second child was diganosed was a develpomently delay and my third was diganosed as learning disabled My oldest that used Playtex drop in kind is fine so don’t tell me that there can’t be a possability that BPA has something to do with this. So excuse my rant.. And yes I do know how many things have BPA I have done me research.

It’s also just so “annoying” at how many people rant about useless things.
Do you know how many things have been researched and found to be “unfavorable” like BPA bottles but are still used/ingested on a daily basis? Do you know how many things actually contain BPA? Do you know how much money the bottle companies are going to make off this BPA scare with their new BPA free bottles?
Well if you’ve done your research, then you would also know that the cans the formula comes in also contains high amounts of BPA. And since all three of your children were given formula, this renders your theory that the BPA caused your two children developmental issues useless.

My son is four year old. I had used Avent bottles on him. He a healthy four year old. I know this past months I hear BPA. I think want they are talking about. I looked it up. I had bought Avent bottles in September of last year and just heard this year. But I can’t return them. But they are fine if you don’t warm the formula in the bottle. If I warm the formula then put in the bottle it would be fine.

That’s your biggest complaint in life?
There are people that think formula is healthier than breastmilk, that gerber frozen dinners are healthier than fresh foods, that “puffs” are the same as real fruit, that believe that c-sections should be a “choice”, that all women need to have their genitals cut during birth, etc, etc.
There are people starving, people dying because they can’t afford meds, there are babies dying because cans of condensed milk has a baby on the label in countries where the literacy rate is very low, boys and girls experiencing horrific genital mutilation in the name of religion, holy wars, suicide bombers, mercury and other heavy metals in our foods, etc, etc

Because people are uniformed and believe any stupid thing they read on the internet instead of researching it and asking people like a doctor or someone reliable if it’s really true.
With all the “dont do this don’t do that” with kids anymore it’s a wonder how any of us were ever able to live this long when parents used things that had things in it that now are considered toxic OR vice versa.
Honestly, as a parent, I can only do the best I can for my child day to day and I’m not going to loose any amount of sleep over it when he eats spaghettios for dinner, used a plastic bottle as an infant or had a shot at the doctors. If I let it all get to me and worry about it non stop we all may as well quit breathing and living at all becasue it will drive you crazy. I have more important things to worry about that the type of bottle I used on my child (or will use on my future children).

This isn’t really a question, but a rant.
True, people are generally misinformed, but as long as YOU are informed — who cares if others are misunderstood or not?
Most people typically think they are right and everyone else is wrong, therefore will not listen to you when you try to tell them that all Avent bottles are NOT BPA-free. But it doesn’t matter! =)
Everyone will learn on their own eventually.. sad for some, but true. <3
