Anyone with successful VBAC experiences?

By pregnantnews

This is my second pregnancy and I’m really hoping for a VBAC, my doctor is very supportive and I’m hoping I can deliver this baby naturally. I would really appreciate any advice you can give, what did you do different, what helped you to focus, etc.
I only have a month to go (maybe less)
My first baby was 6 lb 12 oz and the cause for C-section was fetal distress.
I went 2 weeks early due to a car accident (I was rear ended)
Thank you for your replies!

I am 25 weeks along and also hoping for a VBAC. I was also hoping for a natural, no meds vbac, but at my last appt. my doctor who is very supportive of the vbac itself, squashed those plans. He said He recommends getting the epidural as soon as labor starts and keeping me on a monitor continuously throughout in case of a uterine rupture. I am looking forward to a successful vbac and although, I can’t look forward to a all natural birth experience, I know better what to expect this time around. Good Luck-I’m looking forward to the answers you get. Have a star!

Oh-another great website is ivillage.com-go to the pregnancy and parenting section and then the VBAC board-there are some great stories and very supportive women willing to answer your questions!
