Do you know how old her egg donor is and how long since her donor's last child was conceived? Do you have any idea about the quality of the embryos when they are transferred? It's not clear from your message whether her 1st cycle ended with a negative pregnancy test or a miscarriage. If both cycles have ended in miscarriage, it might be worth your friend asking about the possibility of immune testing. It's quite new and some clinics don't put much store by it, but it can be successful at preventing recurrent miscarriages. I know that I was incredibly lucky with our treatment, but the pain of infertility is simply awful, and to experience miscarriage on top of that must be heartbreaking.
