Should I attempt another vbac?1-section,1-rough vbac, 1-undecided?
ByI had one emergency section, one vbac after 36 hours of labor, 6 pushing hours and a 9lb baby, now preg again and deciding.
Everything online seems to be one extreme or the other.I am really not sure.

If I were you, I would definitely try to have a vabc. I was in the same situation as you, but my baby was 11 lbs and 9 oz. Unfortunately, my second chld was 12 lbs 1oz, so I have to have another c-section, but wanted to have a vbac.

If the hospital in your area will allow you to, go for it. Keep in mind, what causes the uterus to rupture is the pitocin, so if you can, avoid that. You’re last birth was hard, but you were able to do it. When you have a vbac following a c-section, to your body it’s as if you were giving birth for the first time. So, there’s reason to believe that if you have a second natural birth, that it will go faster and easier than your first natural birth. Does that make sense? It just depends on if you feel up to the labor. I had to have two c-sections after planning homebirths for 10 years. My body will not go into labor, nor does it produce milk to nurse. Nobody can tell me why. The hospitals where I live will not let you do a vbac after two c-sections for liability reasons. Otherwise, I would do it. We’re so archaic here, there’s only one hospital that will let you do a vbac after 1 c-section. The other two won’t do it. Basically, it’s whatever you’re more comfortable.

Sorry, that sounds brutal. Keep researching, and consider this:
How much easier was your recovery after vbac vs. recovery after c/s? What kind of care did you (and baby) receive? Will you be at same location with same provider? You might consider new birth provider if possible.
I had 1 c/s followed by 2 vbacs at home. The vbac rate in hospitals is often less than 20%! Their idea of “try” vbac and yours may be very different. Birth philosophy of provider is critical.
Personally, if I had to birth in hospital again, I’d be tempted to c-sect because I think they often mismanage normal labor: pitocin, drugs, position reclining, etc. My homebirth helpers were SO much better; my last baby was almost 11 pounds with no episiotomy and midwife turned baby to avoid shoulder dystocia (many big babies get broken collarbones in hospital)! We were treated MUCH better at home, recovery was FAST, cost was relatively cheap, and I felt empowered.
Bottom line: it’s your body, your baby, your birth. Advocate for what YOU are comfortable with.
Good luck!!
