I have always used a doc, and glad soo. because with 3 for my 4 pregnancies i had complications at the end. At least you are having the baby in the hostpital. i have nothing against mid wives though i have heard of people have great experiences with them. I do not know anyone who has used one. As long as you are able to get the help you need in case of something unexpecting happening you will be fine.

Where during birth complications arise, you need a doctor. Normal delivery, mid wife can lend a hand. If it is my kid, I would be prepared for extraneous emergencies and go for the doctor.

I'm a midwife...it totally depends on your midwife, but midwives are aimed at doing birth naturally & how you want it. They help you to be intune with your body & are a lot less aggressive.

Go for a VBAC, I'm sure you'll do great!!!
Make sure your midwife is there at the hospital, & make sure you enforce what you want the birth setting to be like. I'm sure your midwife will help you along with it.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!

The education and the expertise. The doctor delivers in the hospital, a midwife delivers at your home.
