11 weeks 1 day pregnant…?
ByQuestion by Baby Due 7/31/09!: 11 weeks 1 day pregnant…?
Today, I am 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant, in my second pregnancy. However, my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, at seven weeks, so yes, I do worry a lot more this time.
I think around 10 weeks, I just kind of stopped feeling pregnant, minus the sore breasts. I had horrible morning “nausea” and just the “typical” feelings. I am just nervous, because I didn’t make it this far in my last pregnancy and I am so close to being out of the scary first trimester, I am just hoping something doesn’t go wrong!
So my question to all of you (preferably only those who have experienced this) when did you stop feeling so rotten? I just don’t feel pregnant anymore! And I am tired of worrying. I have my next appointment on the 22nd of this month, so please don’t tell me to just call my doctor. I would like someone else’s opinion.

I certainly don’t want to scare you, or make you worry any more (I know, I was worried all the time because I too had a miscarriage before I got pregnant again) but you should reschedule and talk with your doctor about this. I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in 2005, a healthy boy in 2006, and another miscarriage a week before this Christmas at 11 weeks. It started with the decrease in symptoms, which I thought was normal, and can be, but it’s a very good idea to contact your doctor asap. She can do an ultrasound or check for a heartbeat to ensure you that your baby is ok. I hope that everything is fine, I know that the first trimester can be very scary. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Calm down, so many times during my pregnancy (now 6mths) I have felt “not pregnant” there is nothing to worry about. Unless you see blood or have some awful cramping, don’t worry. Also, I lost my first child when I was 17 and I was really worried in the first few weeks as well, it really helped for me to get a baby doppler, from babybeats.com – really cheap and you will be assured everyday that your child is still okay:) Trust me, it took away 50% of the stress. Good luck and congrats !

If you take mental stress, your coming baby will be defected by stressing. If you want healthy child than you have to make yourself healthy and don’t do too much domestic work you need to rest.

I am 16 wks and feel just the same! I keep asking myself if it’s true or not (even though I’ve had my 10wk scan and know there’s something in there!) I stopped feeling ill really early on – about 9 wks I think. Overall I only felt crap for about 3 weeks. I am now far enough along that I spend most of my time waiting for those ‘flutters’ but so far nothing! It’s my 1st and I have nothing to compare to so am in the same boat as you. Glad I’m not the only one!

I am sorry to hear you miscarried with your first, I cant begin to imagine how awful that must have been for you. I can see why you would be so worried. There are a number of women who have asked this question before either because they didnt feel pregnant from the beginning or there nausea had worn off and they no longer felt pregnant. I didnt feel pregnant at all until I felt my baby kicking by which point I was halfway there. I was sleepier than usual for a few weeks but that was it. My pregnancy book says that nausea tends to wear off for most women towards the end of the first trimester. Most commonly from about 9weeks. Its common for women to not feel pregnant at this stage as they have no symptoms and no bump yet. I would try not to worry, id say its fairly normal for you to feel the way you are. Good luck to you.
