Does a late positive pregnancy test cause for late morning sickness?

By pregnantnews

I just now got a positive pregnancy test at 6 1/2 weeks, does that mean my morning sickness will start later than most women who get a positive before they even miss their period?

morning sickness is different for every expectant mother.
I did not have morning sickness at all or to very little extent. I did however have irratic spells of torrential tears at absolutely no provocation. Not sure which is worse???!!

Not everyone gets morning sickness, and not everyone gets it at the same time. I don’t think that the pregnancy test is any indication of this. I have been through 4 pregnancies and I am in my 5th. They have all been different. Sometimes you don’t experience morning sickness at all, sometimes at the begining, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes not until the end. I learned that as long as you eat before you are hungry, keep snacking all day, you don’t really get sick that bad. But it doesn’t always help. Congratulations and best wishes on your pregnancy ♥

I never got morning sickness with my first child. But I made up for it by being so emotional I should have been committed. lol

no it preobably just means you are not as far along as you think you are… morning sickness usually kicks in at around 7 weeks but everyones is different you might not even get it at all

Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy(the correct term for “morning” sickness) is not affected by when you take your test.
