Symptoms of pregnancy?

By pregnantnews

Question by Having fun TTC: Symptoms of pregnancy?
When people say they have to “pee every 10 minutes” is it a lot of pee that comes out or just a little?
Also, with “nausea” does it feel more like being car sick?

Would someone be able to feel these symptoms a week after ovulation??

I’m not looking for answers like “if you think you have these symptoms take a test” or anything…just more of what it feels like for people going through it.

It will take weeks before you will have any symptoms. At least that’s what they all tell me. But yeah, at least a month I think before you’ll have to pee more. I sure can’t wait to get those symptoms!!

The peeing every 10 minutes come later when you have 7 lbs of baby kicking on your bladder. Early on it is just more frequent. Your entire pregnancy you will have small tiny pees.

The nausea varies. It could just be an uncomfy feeling, it could be like car sickness, or it could be like you randomly feel an urge to vomit with 4 seconds notice before it comes out.

Symptoms usually start at 6 weeks into your pregnancy. At 3 weeks it isn’t likely you will have any true symptoms, just your nerves making you sick while you wait and wonder.

I don’t think you could feel that a week after getting pregnant

A week after ovulation is a little soon to be feeling pregnancy symptoms…and everyone is different, there’s no way to say whether there’s “a lot or a little pee”…the nausea can come in many forms, it can be like motion sickness, food that doesn’t agree, etc…for me this time, the amount of urine varies, I guess depending on how much I drink…and the nausea is definitely more like a motion sickness thing as is comes on more when I move around…but again, everyone is different! Hope that helps…good luck!

Hi,

Well Im 30 weeks pregnant and as you can imaginge I have quite big baby belly.. So I have too pee every 10 minutes as the baby is pressing on my bladder. I only pee a little amount as the pressure of the baby makes my bladder unable to hold alot of urine…

The tiredness is just really bad tiredness all the time. I have never been car sick so I cant relate it too that but it is like you havnt slept for a night or two…SO the tiredness is bad..

Sore boobs is another symptom that is a bummer as they hurt too walk or even touch!!!

Morning sickness is a horrible thing as it dont always come in the morning.. It can come at anytime of the day and can last all day for some women… Whle some women never get it at all..

I dont think you would feel any symptoms quite so early on as you would be too early in the pregnancy for your hormones to be kicking in and causing the sickness, sore boobs and tiredness and so on…

I’ve been pregnant 3 times, and have had different symptoms each time. With my son I found I felt really off to begin with, I went off alcohol and cigarettes (a good thing) and could not stand the smell of raw vegies. Then the morning sickness kicked in at about 6 weeks. Morning sickness is like a really bad hangover with no party preceding it, and it doesn’t go away.
As for the toilet thing, its like going to the toilet normally, just more frequently.
Some people can tell as soon as conception occurs, and many women feel different around ovulation anyway, your breasts become more sensitive and you can have a heightened sense of smell. Good Luck

This is my second time being pregnant, and I felt symptoms really quickly both times. This time conception was July 18 or 19, and I felt nauseated by the smell of cigarettes and the taste of alcohol, and felt cranky, irritable, and totally exhausted on July 30. I took a test when I got back from a cruise that day and it was (faintly) positive. So that was only 11 or 12 days post conception.
Morning sickness for me is like a general feeling of woosiness all day, with occassional bouts of flu-like “I’ve got to get to the bathroom to puke NOW!” moments where my stomach cramps up and gets a distinct bile feeling. Last pregnancy I actually had to go to the ER for the first time in my life because I puked 7 times in about 5 hours and was so dehydrated. It’s not so bad this time, yet, but I’m only 6.5 weeks.
As for the peeing thing, I have to go more frequently at the beginning, but it’s not just in little bits. They say that it’s your body cleaning out the toxins. Also, the other end of the digestive system slows down so your body can absorb more nutrients–so be prepared for rabbit pellets for days on end.
That’s just my experience, and everyone is different, but I hope that helps!
